Planning and Communications Manager

Before joining OIEP, M. Dravis was Research Associate with various projects under the Center for International Development and Conflict Management (CIDCM) at the University of Maryland, including the Kahlil Gibran Chair for Values and Peace.  In addition to his position with OIEP, he serves as an advisor to the Beirut think tank Maison du Futur and a consultant to a former president of Lebanon.

Dravis' has contributed to include: Reshaping Landscapes of Arab Thought: The Legacies of Kahlil Gibran, Ameen Rihani, and Mikhail Naimy (co-editor); Human Security in an Insecure World (editor and contributing author); Retrieving Our Spiritual Heritage: Bahá’í Chair for World Peace Essays and Lectures, 1994-2005 (editor); The Spiritual Heritage of the Human Race** (contributing author and editor), The Humanity of Diplomacy: People and Diplomacy in the 21st Century (editor); and Peoples versus States: Minorities at Risk in the New Century (contributing author).
