In recent years, the Office of International and Executive Programs (OIEP) implemented important changes designed to help us serve our partners better.  First, we hired additional staff and instituted a new management system, which features added and redrawn lines of responsibility (see our Organization Chart for details).

Second, working with relevant University of Maryland (UMD) departments, OIEP enhanced the quality of teaching we help deliver.  Under new protocols, overseas students benefit from more frequent contact with UMD professors and instructors via telecommunications applications.

Third—and thanks to the generosity of the Dean's Office of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS)—OIEP has enhanced facilities and upgraded technical resources that enable us to deliver high-quality teaching and training.

(The following photos give three views of OIEP's reconstructed conference/class room after it was equipped with state-of-the-art Information Technology and new furnishings.)
